Dr. Tiffani Alwazan is a bilingual naturopathic doctor specializing in acupuncture and oriental medicine, with an emphasis on pain reduction, women's health, and general immune support.
Dr. Alwazan attended the National University of Health Sciences, where she earned a Master's in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, and a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine. She graduated summa cum laude in both Oriental Medicine and Naturopathic Medicine and magna cum laude in Chiropractic Medicine. Dr. Alwazan earned academic recognition as valedictorian of her graduating class in the Master of Oriental Medicine program and obtained salutarian laurels as a Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine graduate. Her clinical training includes a hospital-based acupuncture internship at Stroger Hospital Pain Clinic in Chicago, Illinois, and a chiropractic internship at Missouri Orthopaedic Institute.
Dr. Alwazan is a former human service professional with over 20 years of experience working with diverse communities in the public health sector. She earned a Master's in Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy at Christian Theological Seminary.
