It's very rare in my experience as an obese person to find a doctor that listens, takes you seriously and has gentle understanding--Dr. Lu has all of this and more. She didn't just stare at a chart and tell me to lose weight. She had empathy and worked with me to figure out what I can do to change my lifestyle while also providing prescription options, recognizing that changes are hard and take time. She was willing to prescribe me something I was denied by other doctors for. Overall, it was an excellent experience and I would recommend Dr. Lu to everyone.
