“I really think that Tiffany Wright is a great practitioner, she’s very thorough. I felt like she cares about more than just prescribing me medicine. She wants to hear why I feel the way that I feel and not just that I feel it. She did prescribe medicine and I’m only on day two of it. I don’t feel much different as of yet, but we’re still in the beginning stages and it takes time. I look forward to our next session in two weeks.”

“Great to meet Tiffany Wright and share my story and needs. Initial visit was comprehensive with respect to necessary questions and health history as well as providing information and background on medication history and specific needs which required a prior authorization to be sent . It appears that process was successful so I am grateful for that as well.”

Getting to know Tiffany Wright

Hi, my name is Tiffany, and I’m a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner serving clients in Kentucky. I specialize in treating a range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, insomnia and sleep issues, bipolar disorder, life transitions, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)/trauma. I’ve been in nursing for 16 years and completed my psychiatric training at the University of Cincinnati. I’m deeply passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare, and together with my colleagues at Lavender Psychiatry, I’m on a mission to create a world where feelings are felt, respected, and compassionately cared for.

What should a new client know about working with you?

PLEASE NOTE, I’M IN-NETWORK WITH AETNA, ANTHEM, BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD, CIGNA, MEDICARE, OXFORD, AND UNITED HEALTHCARE. I DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICAID. My therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, engagement, and a genuine personal connection. I believe in establishing a strong, collaborative relationship with each client, where we work together to make informed decisions about their treatment. My practice is inclusive and welcoming, embracing diversity in culture, background, and experience. I have worked with a wide range of clients, including students, parents, professionals from various fields, skilled tradespeople, service industry workers, retail employees, entrepreneurs, artists, and technology experts. I am committed to providing a safe and supportive space where each individual feels heard, understood, and empowered to achieve their therapeutic goals. I chose to be a psych NP because I cannot imagine doing anything else in my life except for helping those who are finding their way and their voice. I always wanted a career in nursing and in healthcare due to my desire and passion of wanting to help those who need it the most. Starting treatment can be a scary and intimidating process, I’ve successfully treated many people who are new to psychiatric care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Booking Process: Request your appointment time on Zocdoc. My office will email you an online intake form to ensure I’m able to help you. If we’re a fit, we’ll reach out to confirm an appointment time. I try my best to keep slots available each week for new clients. Your First Visit: The initial session is a comprehensive, one-hour evaluation which allows me to understand your current symptoms and difficulties, and learn about important aspects of your past psychiatric, medical, social, educational, and family histories. At the end of the session, we’ll determine the best treatment course. Session frequency ranges from weekly to monthly depending on the type of treatment you’re looking for. If you’re already seeing a therapist, I’m happy to collaborate with them while guiding the medication aspect of your treatment. However, many of my clients see me for both therapy and medication management. My practice, Lavender Psychiatry, is founded and fueled by board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioners who create therapeutic journeys that are kind, convenient and transparent so that people can flourish. We have a fantastic team that works together to ensure our clients are well taken care of. This includes our care concierge team who is available 7 days a week between your appointments, to help answer questions and assist with any issues regarding coverage and prescriptions etc. We also have covering providers in case I’m away and an urgent matter arises. I look forward to meeting you and helping you in your journey to a brighter future!

It’s common for mental health providers to be out-of-network. Many insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage, so you may get partially reimbursed. Learn more

Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
  • Files your insurance claim: You pay the session fee upfront and the provider files the claim for you, so you can get reimbursed directly without worrying about the paperwork
  • Charges post-reimbursement amount: This provider will only charge you for the amount you pay after you get reimbursed from your insurance plan, so you don’t need to pay the session fee upfront

Tiffany was very professional with listening, and communicating the problem with my sleeping.

Super welcoming! Safe space talking to her!

This was a terrible experience. I did all the paperwork and I went out of my way to be available fir this appointment. I called because I never heard from the provider about how to do the virtual appointment, and was told they canceled my appointment the day before due to my insurance not being in network. But I have a screenshot that absolutely says my insurance is in network with this provider. I really needed this appointment so i am very disappointed about how this all played out. They could have at least let me know!!
