About Dr. Tin Oo
AllCare Primary & Immediate Care is a primary care group focused on providing convenient access to high-quality services delivered by knowledgeable and compassionate teams with an emphasis on preventive wellness. During your appointment, we may refer you to a specialist for certain conditions related to dermatology, gynecology, urology, etc.
Born, raised, and got all my education in Burma (now called Myanmar), including Medical Education in the Institute of Medicine (2), Rangoon, Burma. Graduated in 1973 from Medical School, practiced medicine in Burma, with United Nations Development Program in Sri Lanka, and also in Malaysia and Brunei for a total of nearly 20 years before immigrating to the USA in late 1992 together with family.
Did Internal Medicine Residency training in Woodhull Hospital, Brooklyn, New York, from 1993 till 1996, got Internal Medicine Board certification in 1996, joined a group practice in Chattanooga, Tennessee for 10 years.
Moved to Missouri to join St Mary’s Hospital in Jefferson City In January 2006 and started a Hospitalist program there as Medical Director. In 2008 September moved to Maryland to work as Medical Director for the Hospitalist program in Howard County General Hospital, Columbia, Maryland. Then moved to Martinsburg, West Virginia, to work as Medical Director for the Hospitalist program.
In 2015, started OUCH Urgent Care as a Medical director in Elkridge, Maryland.
I have been recertified with ABIM twice, in 2006 and 2016.
Married and have two grown daughters who both live and work in Washington, DC.

I recently moved to the area and am looking for a new PCP. ZOCDOC suggested Dr. T.O. at AllCare in Annapolis. I was seen promptly for vitals; BP was just 95/61, "quite low." Dr. will be right with you. I was lightheaded, I stated. Dr. Oo popped in 25 min later saying he'd be back in "5 minutes." A half hour went by as I sat by myself, not feeling well (that's why many people go to the doctor's). I opened the door, walked to the front office---no one in sight. I called out, someone came out. I asked for my med history sheet back, said I was not paying and that I was dismayed at not seeing the doctor. I cannot support that kind of practice. I could have been passed out without anyone knowing. Very dismaying "treatment."
I understand it might be a new location (?) and things are working themselves out; if that's the case, they are not off to a good start. I will have to look elsewhere.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new doctor. Dr. Oo is definitely knowledgeable in the specialty areas I am concerned with, and he took time to talk with me. He is very personable and easy to talk with. He suggested a new medication that I will probably end up taking, but he did not refill my badly needed prescription as he said he would, and he ordered a screening that I just had -- he didn't ask me to provide my previous medical records. On the paperwork I got afterwards, and during the visit, he kept saying I was there for my yearly medicare physical, but I made it clear in booking the appointment and in talking with him to begin with, that I was not. So I don't know if my insurance will pay for that, because I just had the yearly physical in another state about 2 months ago. He informed me he could not see me at this location close to my home, because his use of the location was not permanent. I won't travel another 20 minutes to his regular office.

The doctor listened to me and my concerns, and I felt as though I wasn't just another patient. I didn't feel guilty for telling him my full medical history, and he incorporated my history into his recommendations.

Not only was Dr. Oo amazing, but his staff was also a joy to be around. That says a lot considering the anxiety I have with new doctor's appointments. The office was beautiful. The staff was efficient, and Dr. Oo was SO incredibly personable and knowledgeable! He is the kind of person who restores your faith in doctors. I will definitely be back.

This doctor only listened to my heart briefly and was about to send me home. I had to insist to have more to exam. Then he remember to look at my ears and throat. It took me 30-40 minutes to see him and he wanted to spend less than 5 minutes to finish a physical. I am not going back to see him for sure.

I think he may have been overbooked? I’ve had the same experience twice after booking an appointment with Dr Tin. There was maybe 1 other person in the waiting room, I was taken back within 10 minutes but I sat in the exam room for over an hour. Then when he came in the exam room he sped through the exam. Seems like a very nice guy but the experience wasn’t great.

The facility was very clean. I loved that the chairs in the waiting area had charger ports available. I was greated when I walked in. The staff were very friendly. Crystal took my vitals and drawn my blood. She was so nice and welcoming. Dr. Oo was also friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone. I arrived about 1pm for my 1:30pm appt. There was nearly no wait time. I sat down about 2 mins and was called right away to get vitals, blood drawn and start my exam. Very professional and efficient. I arrived for my 10am appointment promptly and checked in. My weight, blood pressure and temperature was taken. After I waited in the patient room #3 for 35 minutes alone. At this point I decided to leave (10:45am) and never saw the doctor. However, he signed off on the form I received via the portal that I received a physical…. This place is ridiculous.
