I've had so much fear and anxiety about meeting with a psychiatrist and officially getting diagnosed. I've read so many horror stories of psychiatrists treating patients insensitively and just nonchalantly prescribing these heavy-duty medications with little to no care to sit and listen to what's brought them there and getting the full scope of what's going on. I understand there's a difference between a therapist and a psychiatrist, but there should still be a level of care and due diligence when tending to the treatment of someone's brain lol. All that to say, Mr. Raju exceeded all expectations and then some. Not only did he take the time to understand and really listen to my rambling, I never felt rushed or that I was wasting his time by adding in whatever info I felt was necessary (that probably wasn't lol). He also understands the importance and seriousness of taking these medications and puts care and thought behind different options and an action plan. Couldn't recommend enough!

Branching out and building trust and expectations with medical professionals as a younger patient can be super nerve-wracking, but thankfully my providers have been easy to find & easy to work with so far. Dr. Raju was a great listener & was able to prescribe me a medication that's doing a pretty good job at addressing my concerns - in less than 2 days.
