About Dr. Tracy Prizant
A proud Pittsburgh native, Dr. Prizant has enjoyed working all of her career in her hometown. An alumnus of Shady Side Academy, she received her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. Returning home, she received her MD from University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1992, achieving the academic distinction of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She also received the Bernhard Goldmann Prize for Dermatology during her fourth year of medical school. After an Internal Medicine internship at UCLA, she again returned home to complete her Dermatology residency at The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
After 15 years with a group practice, Dr Prizant opened Prizant Dermatology, allowing her to tailor her practice even more toward her specialized interests, as well as to better serve her patients and the community needs. She would describe herself as a general dermatologist, and she enjoys building long term relationships with her patients, offering preventative skin cancer screenings, as well as visits for acute and subacute issues that may arise, including prescribing biologic medications and isotretinoin (formerly Accutane). She is also a skilled dermatologic surgeon, removing benign and malignant lesions.
Dr. Prizant offers evaluations to address wrinkles, volume loss, and sun damaged skin. Her cosmetic services include neurotoxins, dermal fillers and facial revolumization, chemical peels, and microneedling for skin rejuvenation, as well as PRP injections for hair loss.
Dr Prizant is married to Dr Jon Levy, an orthopaedic spine surgeon, and they have 3 adult children. When not in the office, she spends much of her time enjoying Pittsburgh's parks, restaurants, exercise studios, shopping, as well as following her favorite Pittsburgh sports team

2nd visit. This was a new concern. I didn't consider going anywhere else because of my relaxed, comfortable experience for a different problem last year. And this visit was just as relaxed and comfortable. Last time the office notified me of the test results quickly so I didn't have to worry for an extended period of time. Everything about the visit went well: easy parking, on time, friendly staff, and Doctor Prizant who elicited all relevant information, did a prompt and thorough examination, and handled the procedure quickly and painlessly. Dr. Prizant also clearly explained what comes next. Last, she was pleasant and personable. While this isn't a necessity, it certainly made me feel more comfortable.
