Prior to becoming a PMHNP, I graduated from Bellarmine University in 1998 with a BSN. I worked as an RN in multiple roles including behavioral health, home health and as a case manager. As a PMHNP, I enjoy working with various age ranges from 14+. I have experience working with those who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD or emotional dysregulation. They often feel frustrated, overwhelmed, exhausted or unable to focus. MEDICATION PRESCRIBING: Thriveworks providers do not prescribe opioid use disorder medications, weight-loss medications, injectable psychiatric medications, long-term benzodiazepines, or sleep medications, though these may be prescribed short-term for existing clients when clinically appropriate. Controlled substances, including ADHD stimulants, are available only in select states.
