“Doctor Patel was very thorough and patient with my sometimes incoherent ramblings. She’s obviously in this profession to do right by her patients as she is referring me to local doctors who will be better suited to achieve my longterm goal of finding a medication that is safe to take during a pregnancy and that specializes with women only. Despite my anxiety, I felt surprisingly at ease and immediately let my guard down and was able to give her a cliff notes version of my long time struggles with depression and mood disorder. I really appreciated her patience with me as I was late to the appointment which was virtual - my bad. Very nice, knowledgeable doctor. Highly recommend.”

These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

Overall I didn't feel this appointment was a great use of my time. I was hoping to treatment for ADHD, which I've received a diagnosis for in the past, and the doctor's only recommendation was that I receive extensive testing for it that their office does not provide (and would be extremely expensive). It felt like she did not trust my therapist's recommendations, my past diagnosis, or my own account of my experiences and that was extremely frustrating. Ultimately I spent an hour of my time and money on something that achieved nothing in improving my mental health.
