Dr. Turya Nair, MD is a primary care physician with board certifications in both family medicine and integrative medicine. She is originally from New Jersey, where she also graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She then completed family medicine residency at Loma Linda University in southern California, a program focused on a "whole person care" approach to health and illness. Since moving to Dallas, she has worked in academic and county health settings, leading multidisciplinary teams to care for the full spectrum of primary care conditions and lecturing medical learners in integrative medicine, medical humanities and narrative medicine. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, making music, and pursuing a variety of creative hobbies
