About Uroosa Anwaar
Uroosa Anwaar is a licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant who is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and patient-centered care.
Uroosa grew up in Virginia and earned her undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology from George Mason University. She later pursued Master of Public Health from George Washington University, where she began her work with the veteran population as a Senior Analyst.
Driven by a desire to have a more direct impact on patient care and positive outcomes, Uroosa went on to earn her degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University in New Jersey, an institution known for its focus on compassionate, patient-centered care for diverse communities. During her time there, she served as the Diversity Chair and remains deeply committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare.
Uroosa discovered her passion for Family Medicine through her dedication to building trust and long-term relationships with patients. She strives to empower individuals to become advocates for their own health through education and collaborative care.
She currently lives in Rockville, MD with her husband. In her free time, she enjoys going on walks, discovering local coffee shops and restaurants, likes to travel and spending quality time with her family.
