My approach I will use a combination of medication management and talk therapy to find the best diagnosis and treatment plan for her patients. I will also integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered techniques into treatment. My communication style My communication style is very calm, empathetic, ensuring, empowering, and supportive. My journey to mental healthcare My goal is to improve mental health knowledge in the community and decrease the stigma about mental health. My goals for you I would like patients to feel as though they have a champion for their health, a teammate in their care, and a safe space to work through whatever they need. Our first session Our first session will focus on getting to know more about your history, struggles, and stressors. It will be reassuring, establishing therapeutic rapport, and professional bonding. During the first session, an initial assessment will be completed. I will obtain family history, medical history, mental health history, and current symptoms. A medication review will also be completed.
