“When I made the appointment with Zocdoc it asked me to input my insurance info. And the next day I called to be sure my appointment was actually on the books since I had made it after hours on the computer, and I was asked to verify my insurance info and no one told me that they were out of my network until I received an email notice to this effect. Because I have been trying to get in to see a doctor and being told that the end of August was the first available appointment, I continued with their office. ”

Dr. Sagar received his undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University, and he earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed his cardiology fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver and an Advanced Echocardiography fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He is the recipient of a number of awards and honors, and he has co-authored several book chapters and presented at national conferences. He brings a patient-focused, thoughtful, and comprehensive style of care to his patient population, and has been recognized for superior care by area hospitals.
