About Dr. Uyi Aideyan
Dr. Uyi Stephen Aideyan is a Nigerian-American physician who completed his medical school in the Caribbean and his residency training in Internal Medicine at Columbia University, Harlem Hospital Center in New York City. He is currently working as an attending physician in Miami.
Dr. Aideyan is board-certified with more than 20 years of experience, specializing in internal medicine. During his residency at Columbia University and Harlem Hospital Center, he had the unique opportunity to live and train among a diverse, cosmopolitan population. This experience provided him with extensive exposure to a wide range of common and uncommon illnesses.
In addition to his residency, Dr. Aideyan has over six years of experience as a hospitalist, practicing in various hospitals including Conemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; St. Luke’s Medical Center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; UPMC Hamot in Erie, Pennsylvania; and Physicians Regional Hospital in Naples, Florida.
Through his years as a hospitalist, Dr. Aideyan has come to understand that while hospital-based, interventional treatment is essential for survival, the core goal of medicine lies in prevention and early detection of disease. This philosophy is the foundation of Optimum Medical Center. The focus there is on outpatient care that emphasizes prevention, early diagnosis, and prompt coordination among specialists, all guided by evidence-based medicine and a value care model.

This provider was horrible ! Very rude and impatient. Also I payed a copay and was then charged an additional amount of money that was absurd for "paperwork" because I was a new patient. The "paperwork" was literally the doctor saving my name and reason for visit in his files so according to him "next time" I just have to pay a copay because he knows me now... Forgot to mention I am an in-network patient.

I’m so so happy that I decided to choose Dr. Aideyan as PCP. After my PCP informed me that they were no longer taking my insurance i needed another PCP that would accept my health plan. I had my first visit yesterday with Dr. Aideyan I was very impressed of how professional courteous and understanding Dr. is. Dr. gave me all the time that I needed for my visit plus I never ever felt rushed. I was able to explain all my concerns and my health problems plus my labs. At which time I needed refills on some of my meds and a few referrals too. I was super super happy and I even told my family and friends about Dr. Aideyan. My family, husband and a friend will be seeing Dr too very soon. Thanks Dr Aideyan for being such a magnificent Dr.

Provider and front desk man were great. Very friendly and welcoming. I did not have a long wait before seeing the provider which was great. The provider listened and noted all of my concerns. I loved that he did not make my appointment feel rushed either. My only complaint was that I wasn’t made spears that my insurance was not accepted prior to my appointment and meeting with the physician although Zocdoc and the office had my insurance type posted as accepted. I highly recommend this provider, just ensure that your insurance is accepted prior.

This was by far one of the BEST experiences with a PCP. I am a new patient with this doctor and he was very attentive and a GREAT listener. He doesn’t tell you what’s wrong with you but will ask you to explain to him your areas of concern. I’ve always wanted and needed that in a doctor. Thank for a GREAT and WONDERFUL experience. This memory will last a lifetime. I will recommend anyone I know that’s in need of a PCP.
