Hello! I’m Dr. Uzoamaka Mbadugha, DNP, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to helping individuals find balance, clarity, and lasting wellness. I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and supportive therapy tailored to each person’s unique needs. I treat a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, bipolar disorder, and sleep or stress-related conditions.
My approach combines evidence-based medication management with mindfulness, psychoeducation, and lifestyle support to address both the mind and body. As a new patient, Dr. Mbadugha was able to fit me in to her schedule quickly, with very little wait for an appointment. Upon meeting, she was flexible when I realized I had a conflict that would result in me leaving the appointment early. She accommodated me by shortening the time of my initial meeting but keeping it purposeful. She helped me feel seen and understood almost immediately.
