About Valerie Lyvers
Valerie Lyvers, Lac, Dipl OM, Mstom, is a graduate of Pacific College of Health and Science Chicago.
A nationally certified acupuncturist and herbalist, Valerie combines acupuncture with food therapy and lifestyle recommendations to educate her patients on ways to heal.
At the Pacific College of Health and Science, she completed over 3,307 hours of combined study, 900 of which were hands-on clinical hours. She has also interned at 4 other Chicago clinics in her free time, and completed an externship at the Chicago Women’s health center. For the past 6 years, Valerie has practiced at an integrative clinic in Chicago before landing at 2 locations in Racine, Wisconsin.
She believes patients should be as involved in their treatment plans as possible, and encourages questions. Valerie was fantastic. I have a severe fear of needles and she was able to keep me calm and relaxed (a serious and impressive feat). She took the time to listen and ask questions and explained everything in ways I could understand. She made sure I was as comfortable as could be the entire time and by the time I left, my pain was seriously improved. By the next day, it was completely gone. Excellent experience all around.

Val is incredible. She really listens to her patients and is just so knowledgeable on how to manage both physical and emotional ailments. She’s helped me with everything from physical injuries to sleeping better to managing my allergies and everything in between!
Her combined expertise in both acupuncture and nutrition really ensures you’re getting double the impact for your money. On top of that she’s just a joyful person to spend time with, especially when you aren’t feeling well. She’s a calming and positive force. Don’t hesitate to see her!

Valerie is a highly skilled acupuncturist, who is incredibly professional and knowledgeable in Eastern Medicine practices and herbs. She knows exactly what my body needs when I come to see her, and I leave floating on air! I have seen her every other week for over a year and I can't imagine not going to see her.

Val was instrumental in taking care of my health when my Mom tested positive for COVID pneumonia in October and I stayed to take care of her. Val took exceptional care mining through the circumstances, symptoms and guidance for me to be healthy and safe around my Mom. She also prescribed herbal support, which made a great impact. Her gentle bedside manner is comforting. I felt like I could ask her anything.
