Hi, I'm Vanessa Rakis-Garabedian and I was born and raised in the Central Valley and nearby mountains. After earning my Bachelor's in Public Health and Mass Communications and Journalism, I went on to complete my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Fresno in 2012. From that point on, I gained a variety of clinical experience—from school-based to private practice to residential treatment services—before landing in my current role as Clinical Supervisor with Find Your Balance. Here, I get to combine my passion for leadership, clinical excellence, and systems/operational work. I am EMDR trained and specialize in treating trauma in all of its variations. My motivation in all I do is to inspire people to become their best and truest version of themselves through connection and understanding. Outside of work, you can find me spending time with my husband and two daughters, cheering them on in all their activities and passions, or in the garden tending to my ever-growing list of plants.
