Please DON'T BOOK an appointment PRIOR TO READING below. I am OUT OF NETWORK FOR ALL HEALTH INSURANCES (1st session cost is $350). I do NOT prescribe ADDICTIVE medications (ie controlled substances such as Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, Ritalin, Concerta, Vyvanse etc) due to telemedicine-related restrictions. I DO prescribe nonaddictive psychiatric medications such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics if indicated.
I am a Yale and Washington University, double-board certified psychiatrist currently accepting new patients. I work exclusively over telemedicine. I am happy to treat any mental health problem. I work outside of regular business hours, esp late evenings and early mornings which typically works extremely well for the busy professionals population I take care of. You don't have to miss work to see your psychiatrist!
I am a double board-certified Psychiatrist delighted to offer compassionate evidence-based care for residents of California, New York and Texas. Having trained at prestigious US medical schools and having worked at multiple hospitals over the years, I now strive to provide excellent care at the comfort of your own home over telemedicine.
I am enthusiastic about providing care for people who suffer from substance use disorders. Addiction Psychiatry is my sub-specialty.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I do NOT provide prescriptions for ADDICTIVE controlled substances (such as Xanax, Klonopin, Ritalin, Concerta, Suboxone, methadone etc) due to restrictions related to practising over telemedicine but if needed I can make recommendations to your Primary Care Physician.
I prescribe medications and offer psychotherapy exclusively online.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
The first step to an effective treatment is reaching an accurate diagnosis. Therefore, the first session is longer and thorough. Only, after we have worked closely and have worked towards determining what the problem is, we can work closely to address it and help you feel better. I prescribe medications and administer psychotherapy in one session, which can have synergistic results.
I am enthusiastic about working with patients who have problems with addiction who are motivated to quit!
Out-of-pocket fees and assistance
Initial session: $350 for 60 minutes
Ongoing session: $250 for 30 minutes
- Sliding scale: Offers lower out-of-pocket fees on an individual basis, typically based on your ability to pay

Compassionate is the first word I think of. I’m like a caveman with filling out forms on the internet and getting set up for video teleconferences and even though I got it wrong a buuunch of times, the Dr was very compassionate with his patience and made sure we got the entire hour in after getting the forms filled out and payment set up. I highly recommend at least giving the doctor a try before you decide on a psychiatrist. =
