Dr. Vedrana Hodzic, MD

Psychiatrist
MD
The best psychiatric care begins with understanding the whole person—not just their symptoms. I believe effective treatment starts by taking the time to understand your experiences, strengths, goals, and the factors that shape your overall well-being. As a board-certified psychiatrist, I work with adults age 18 to 55 experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and stress-related concerns. My approach combines comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, psychotherapy, medication management when appropriate, and attention to lifestyle factors that influence mental health. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and supports meaningful, lasting change. Before starting Marisol Mental Health, I held leadership roles in academic psychiatry. I currently serve as the Director of Fellowships and Medical Education at the American Psychiatric Association Foundation, where I support the education and professional development of future psychiatrists. These experiences continue to inform my commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality psychiatric care grounded in the latest evidence. Marisol Mental Health is a self-pay practice that allows me to spend more time getting to know you and provide care that is individualized, collaborative, and focused on your long-term well-being.
