“I was establishing myself as a new patient, not happy with my previous Dr. I was shocked when they called my name from the waiting room before I had finished paying the copay and filling out the forms. And, I had arrived a bit early! I was in the room where I saw the doctor BEFORE my appointment time. I must say I was impressed! Everyone seemed liked they cared, Abigail, Jackie and of course Dr. Gomez. Her manner is gentle and everyone was upbeat, what a change for South FL! I loved it there.”

About Dr. Veronica Gomez-Colorado
Dr. Gomez Colorado is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and graduated as Chief Resident from a three-year residency program at Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY. During that time, she concentrated on conditions in the emergency room, inpatient floors, and the intensive care unit. In 2001, she graduated from Universidad CES Escuela de Medicina (Instituto de Ciencias de la Salud-CES) in Medell?n, Colombia, as a Physician and Surgeon. In addition, she has authored several publications focusing on a wide variety of medical conditions. Prior to joining our practice, she was a hospitalist with Memorial Healthcare System for several years.
Her strong family values and admiration for the senior community, specifically in South Florida, have always fueled her passion for having an office-based practice where she can truly develop an extended healthcare relationship with patients. Furthermore, her dedication to patient education has propelled her to engage with our community-not only speaking publicly but also attending health fairs and publishing several articles in local newspapers. It is with incomparable drive, vision, and intent that she has joined our practice to provide quality healthcare both in our office and in a hospital setting.

This was my first time trying a new "adult" primary care doctor after graduating college. I had been with my previous office since I was a child. Here, I went in for a new patient check up and was pretty much rushed through my appointment. She hardly did anything but take my blood pressure and send me to get blood drawn. I feel like something could have easily been missed in her haste to get to whatever she felt was more important. She was basically like, "you seem healthy" and went on her way. I wouldn't trust someone like that with my health long term. Staff was nice at least.

I want to find a doctor that I felt comfortable with because my last one I did not. Right away she made me feel comfortable and listen to everything that I said. She seemed genuinely concerned of my problems and that made me feel like she cared. That makes all the difference when you're not feeling good. I would definitely recommend her to anybody
