About Dr. Victor Cantero

Dr. Victor H. Cantero, MD, FACOG, FACS
With state-of-the-art offices in Weston, FL, and Miramar, FL, Dr. Cantero is board certified in OB/GYN by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG). He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the department of obstetrics and gynecology at various hospitals throughout South Florida.
Dr. Cantero earned his medical degree from Universidad Nacional de Asunción Facultad de Medicina. After migrating to the United States in 2005, he completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, Cornell University, and Flushing Hospital Medical Center in New York City.
Dr. Victor Cantero of Comprehensive Women's Center OB-GYN has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is certified in robotic surgery/single-port approaches, urogynecology, pelvic floor repair procedures, hormone replacement therapy, and aesthetic and cosmetic gynecology.
With many expectant moms among his patients, Dr. Cantero enjoys labor and delivery and strives to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based care possible.

Doctor was very nice and well manner. Office was very clean and fast. The only downside that I experienced is that with previous doctor for a annual woman well exam a Breast exam is included and I was not given a breast exam during this visit as part of the Woman annual wellness exam.

I was aware of what I needed to pay for the consultation as well as the ultrasound. What I didnt expect was for them to quote me for a much more expensive ultrasound when I was under 14 weeks. I contacted my insurance and they confirmed how this doctor was contracted with them at a specific amount way lower than what the front desk stated. They called me within five minutes to tell me the time I had chosen wasn’t available if we can change it and I said of course. But when I question her on why she couldn’t call to go over the supposed priced she told me they verify at the moment. It makes perfect sense why the clinic is dead and there’s so many appointments available.

Most likely would not recommend him to family and friends. Staff was very curt, and I was told if it’s anything more than the pap, I would be charged, was not able to even discuss birth control. He did not preform typical pelvic during pap. Or breast exam.

They charged me for an appointment when it was covered by my insurance. When I came back to get my back they said the way it works is that when the insurance pays them then I can come back with my receipt and get my money back. That was a lie. The Dr was mean to me and rough. He was upset that I was uncomfortable. In the end he didn't do what I came In for. Then wanted to charge me more to try again
