About Dr. Vijaya Mummadi
I am a Board Certified Internist. I worked as a hospitalist for more than three years. This experience prepared me well to manage a wide variety of internal medicine challenges. It also made me realize that making timely changes and identifying medical problems earlier can likely prevent many hospitalizations and reduce morbidity in patients. For this reason, I decided to become a Primary Care Physician. My patients have always felt safe under my care due to my strong knowledge base and understanding of their various concerns. They feel I am a competent and compassionate person, and I hope you will come to feel the same way about me.
I take care of patients who are 18 years and older.
I earned my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Kakatiya Medical College. I completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center and pursued a Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Michigan.
