At our primary care and cardiology clinic, we're dedicated to providing personalized treatment and care. Beyond managing symptoms, we develop tailored plans addressing the root causes of your health concerns. Our approach is collaborative, from prevention to intervention, prioritizing proactive strategies for lasting wellness.
I completed my Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at Dr. Y.S.R University of Health Sciences. I then pursued a Residency in Internal Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans, followed by fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology at Ochsner Medical Center and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center New Orleans, respectively. This extensive training enables me to offer comprehensive, expert care to my patients.

Everyone from the receptionist to the tech and cardiologist were simply amazing! Good people with genuine care. You could tell that they all loved what they were doing and the cardiologist was very knowledgeable. I loved the way he used the most modern technology and walked me through everything he was doing. I always felt like I was in great hands.

I visited with Dr. Jaligam. He and everyone else supporting in the office was pleasant, informative, and professional. I arrived for my appointment early and was seen very promptly anyways, which pleasantly surprised me. I hope I do not have a need for a cardiologist in the near future, but will follow up with Dr. Jaligam if so.
As we were talking, I appreciated the philosophy of prevention rather than medication that Dr. Jaligam integrated into the conversation of potential treatments. While I don’t have experience with other cardiologists to compare to, expectations were exceeded and I would recommend him with the highest rating.

I was worried about my health but Dr Vijayendra Jaligam made me feel comfortable right away. He asked the right questions and also let me ask my own questions too. At one time I thought I was taking too much of his time and apologized to him but he pulled up a chair and sat down and told me "I am here to listen" or something to that effect. I was very impressed. Above all he made me feel better about myself with his reassurances.
I am glad I found him for my health needs.

I highly recommend Dr. Jaligam. He cares about his patients and listens to them. What I really liked was not taking medication and try to get better by doing it naturally - eat healthy, exercise. He explained my condition well. Staff was nice. Office was clean. I was seen on time. Every time I have a question, I sure get an answer. I will surely keep on going to this practice!

Dr. Jaligam was very pleasant and kind. Once I was called the doctor came right away. He listened to my concerns and suggested food choices. I showed him the vitamins I take and he told me which ones are not necessary. After examining me he recommended a medication for few months and follow up.

Honestly great doctor and he truly cares about your health and he wants you to keep you heart and body in good health so you won’t need to see a doctor so often once you get older. He gave me great recommendations about how to change my diet and other test to do to be aware of what’s going on in my body.
