About Dr. Vinita Patel
Vinita Patel MD is Board Certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. In 2016 Dr. Patel was given the America’s Best Physicians award. She has presented abstracts at the American College of Rheumatology regarding Sjogrens, Lupus and rheumatoid arthritis.
Dr. Patel received her medical degrees from a seven year medical program at NYCOM. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and won the presidential award for academic excellence. Dr. Patel did her Residency and Fellowship in Rheumatology at Winthrop University Hospital and NYU.
Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, Sjogren’s syndrome, osteoporosis and gout.

In my experience, the doctor was not pleasant to deal with. Her bedside manner was particularly unpleasant. I will not be returning to this doctor and hope she can improve her bedside manner in the future.

office staff was super nice and quick, i was seen right away. dr. patel seemed annoyed to be seeing me and dismissive of my pain, like she had better things to do. would not see her again simply because of her bedside manner.

Very rude and disrespectful front desk I’ve never had such a horrible experience. For your own sake, book with someone else and take the bad reviews into account. Doctor also lacked bedside manners. Was unfriendly and stern. Front desk gossips about you in front of your face. Doctor also didn’t treat me despite servers pain.
