Virginia’s earliest memories of Chinese medicine began during her annual childhood trips to Taiwan, where she spent time in her uncle’s herbal pharmacy surrounded by shelves of traditional remedies and Western medicines. Each year, she would return home with suitcases filled with herbal formulas, traditional remedies, favorite snacks, magazines, music, and toys—an experience that fostered a lifelong appreciation for the healing traditions of her heritage. Before entering the field of medicine, Virginia built a successful career in Corporate America, serving in software leadership roles that demanded long hours and relentless dedication. Drawn back to her roots and inspired by the healing traditions she grew up with, she pursued her medical training at Pacific College of Health and Science, where she earned a Master of Science in Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (MSAcCHM). Virginia’s approach is grounded in both modern science and traditional medicine. Her clinical experience includes treating patients at renowned fertility centers, Veterans Affairs hospitals, and leading college and university health clinics, where she has worked with diverse patient populations and complex health concerns. She has experience treating a wide range of conditions, including pain management, women’s health concerns, stress and emotional trauma, as well as facial rejuvenation. Her goal is not only to provide immediate relief from pain and discomfort, but also to support patients in achieving their long-term health goals, empowering them to live fulfilled and vibrant lives.
