About Dr. Vivek Gupta
Dr. Vivek Gupta is an ear, nose, and throat doctor serving the community of Austell, GA. Dr. Gupta completed his undergraduate degree in biology at Washington University in St. Louis. He obtained his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine, one of the top five medical schools in the country. While in medical school, Dr. Gupta also obtained a master's degree in molecular biology doing cutting-edge research on head and neck cancer. He completed his general surgery internship and residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va. Since finishing his residency in 2003, Dr. Gupta has been in practice in Austell and Douglasville.
As a board-certified otolaryngologist, Dr. Gupta treats both adult and pediatric patients. He has a special interest in sinus surgery and utilizes the latest technologies, including computer-guided sinus surgery and minimally invasive balloon sinus surgery. Dr. Gupta also has an interest in office treatment of inner ear disorders. Dr. Gupta is an active member of the medical staff and has served on multiple committees at WellStar Cobb and Douglas hospitals. He is married with three children.

The entire office was super friendly and warm, and Dr Gupta was such a breath of fresh air, listening to me and trusting that something is off, even though the preliminary basic exam didn’t show anything wrong. I’ve been brushed off by different medical professionals (as I can assume many AFAB people have experienced) throughout my life, which can make visiting a new practitioner slightly intimidating, but the Dr was so thorough, friendly, and really listened to me and guided me through what the next steps would be. I left the office feeling like I finally had a plan forward to figure out my problems. I so highly recommend Dr Gupta - he was booked out a while but was absolutely worth the wait.

It was great!! The office staff had such a good energy, and they were super friendly and helpful! Dr. Gupta was amazing. I went in to have my nose looked at, and during my exam he found something else I wasn’t even aware of! I love that he took the extra steps with that and he ACTUALLY listened to me.
Too many times have I been to a doctor only to walk out feeling like I just stepped out of the twilight zone or something. This was very refreshing! I recommend him 100%

My visit was okay. Not bad but not great either. It felt like an in and out process. After two visits, the doctor was unable to help and now I’m stuck with a high bill and no resolution to my problem. The staff at the front could be more hospitable. They don’t speak or say much besides “fill out the paperwork.” However, I would like mention the woman who did the audio test on me. She was very sweet, knowledgeable and patient! She seemed to be more concerned with my issue than the actual doctor. She was the highlight of my visit.

No wait time to see doctor. He is so friendly and all his staff is as well. He cleaned the built-up wax from my ears quickly and painlessly. I will try to see Dr. Gupto for any ENT needs.

I went based off the reviews but he seemed smug and brushed off my serious concerns. I was in and out in 5-10 minutes and never really felt like he cared, it seemed like he just wanted to move on to the next patient. Wouldn't recommend.

Dr Gupta and his staff were very pleasant, listened to my concerns and and talked me through a few possible treatments to try for ongoing ear pressure. My only issue was finding the office as the address listed on Zocdoc and given to me in my confirmation led me to a random warehouse. Once I called the office and was given new directions, there was no issue. If you're a new patient make sure you don't rely on the address provided online!
