About Wanzhu Hou

Wanzhu Hou is a licensed acupuncturist and a certified practitioner of Chinese medicine, both in the United States and China. She holds a medical degree (MD) from China. Previously, she was a professor and chief attending physician at Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and its affiliated hospital. In this role, she treated and researched patients in the internal medicine department and the emergency room, in addition to teaching international students. She employed techniques from Chinese medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, and integrative medicine, to demonstrate effective treatment outcomes using advanced methods. To further explore a holistic approach to treating various diseases, she established her clinic in the United States to identify patterns in disease treatment. At her clinic, she provides treatment to patients with both infectious and non-infectious diseases as well as injuries. She has found that, regardless of the underlying cause of the illness, her treatment strategy focuses on reversing the damaged structure and function of cells, including in cases of cancer and organ failure. This approach is based not on the labels given by modern medical diagnoses, but rather on the cytopathic states identified in advanced medicine. Ultimately, her goal is to improve her patients' quality of life, heal diseases, and extend their longevity.
