About Dr. Wei Yuan
Dr. Wei Yuan is a medical doctor who is trained in both Western and Traditional Chinese medicine. She began her career working at the Department of Internal Medicine as a resident (acupuncturist) and later an attending physician (chief acupuncturist & acupuncture instructor) in Luoyang hospital, one of the prestigious and highly regarded hospitals in China for 10 years. Then she studied and conducted cancer research at the Columbia University Medical School, Division of Oncology, Department of Medicine, and worked at Boehringer-Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Company, Department of Cardiovascular & Department of Drug Discovery as a research scientist for total 10 years before went back to be an acupuncturist again.
Afterward, Dr. Wei Yuan has also received advanced training in novel FCT (Field Control Therapy). She was trained directly by its creator, Dr. Savely Yurkovsky, M.D. (Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Integrative Medicine, Homeopathy), and became a FCT instructor and a homeopathic practitioner.
Dr. Wei Yuan has solid acupuncture clinic experience in a combination of Western medicine, Traditional Chinese medicine, and Homeopathy, as well as strong knowledge about Basic medical science, Pharmaceuticals drugs toxicology.
