I booked the appointment for 430 when I got there they had no recollection in their system as me ever having the appointment although I got a confirmation text and I showed it to them. I had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen with a finger that required six stitches.

My experience at urgent care was a great experience. The nurse staff was outstanding, providing exceptional care.
The Nurse Practitioner Ms. Tanyetta Brown was very caring & friendly and kind to me. The Nurse Ms. April was very pleasant and thoughtful also. Making me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Such a Joy and Blessing meeting both of them. Thankyou very much! God Bless Everyone

Staff was very friendly and kind. Caregivers were outstanding - listened well and responded to all my issues/questions.
The only 'bump in the road' on this visited was the appointment. I made an appointment online but for some reason it didn't show up on their schedule. So when I walked in I had to reschedule for a couple hours later. No biggie, but I wish it had not happened. When I got home i checked my home-email and had a confirmation for the original appointment time. So there was some kind of glitch in the system. =/
All in all a great place. Staff was great. Very good experience. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their care.

Registration and Intake persons were amazing. Radiology was great. All of the assistants, transport, escorts, and even the PA assistant and nurse were great. It wasn’t until I was engaged by ‘Liz’ the PA, that my experience went sharply downhill.
Liz refused to listen and attempted to talk down to me, in an attempt to minimize my pain and discomfort, and my need for an ultrasound / or mri for my injury.
She insulted my intelligence several times, in front of the student PA, making medically ambiguous comments to try to convince me that it’s ok if I have a foreign object in my finger that was causing me discomfort. In fact she went out of her way to assume that I could relate to how they allow bullets to remain in some patients and they live just fine!
She was biased, rude and prejudiced in her bedside manner and totally dismissed my concerns. She has NO business training anyone and needs remediation in how to engage patients.

My accident was around 2:15 pm, Saturday June 14th. There
was one appt time left at the Urgent Care on Stonebridge in Douglasville so I registered for the 5:00 pm appt. I felt that was good luck on my part. The front desk staff member said maybe I registered at a different facility because she couldn't find my name & info. That was incorrect because I received "you are checked ?? in" from the on line site.
She asked and I gave her my medical info (symptoms) and insurance cards, anyway. After 5-10 minutes, a medical asst (very nice person) came out to the lobby and shared that the doctor said I should go to the ER because I needed several X-rays. I never did see or speak with the doctor.

I would recommend WellStar Urgent Care to anyone. The facility is clean, and the staff is friendly. The nurse was very knowledgeable about my situation. In addition, they called me to check on me to see how I was doing. I thought that was great!
