About Wendy Davies

From an early age, Wendy knew her purpose was to help people feel better and move through life with greater ease in both body and mind. Born and raised in Canada, she began this path with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, followed by a three-year degree in Registered Massage Therapy. While living in the mountain town of Whistler, British Columbia, she built a rewarding career treating athletes and addressing the aches, pains, and injuries common in mountain sports. Why Acupuncture? In Wendy’s mid-twenties, after more than a decade of painful periods with no clear answers from Western medicine, she took a leap of faith and tried acupuncture. Within one month, her pain was reduced by 75%. This experience not only inspired her to study Traditional Chinese Medicine, but to also focus on women’s health, an area that is often under-researched and overlooked. Since earning her Master’s of Acupuncture from the Colorado Chinese Medicine University, she has enjoyed treating digestive conditions such as IBS, constipation, and GERD. She also frequently combines acupuncture, manual therapy, and home care exercises to address a wide range of pain conditions. Supporting individuals with mental health concerns, including anxiety, panic attacks, and depression, has been especially meaningful to her. Outside the Clinic In her free time, Wendy enjoys hiking and snowboarding in the mountains, lifting weights, practicing pilates, and (attempting to) play golf.
