However, when I was called back for my appt the back office was entirely different. The nurse was friendly and efficient. It was a very short wait for the doctor. He was very friendly and professional and gave a thorough exam. Will definitely return to this practice!”

About Dr. Weston Waxweiler
Dr. Weston T. Waxweiler M.D., FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Waxweiler is originally from Duluth GA and graduated from Duluth High School. He completed his undergraduate degree with honors at Davidson College on a full-scholarship. While an undergraduate, Dr. Waxweiler developed a desire to practice medicine while working on a medical study-abroad trip in Kikuyu, Kenya.
He then went on to medical school at the Medical College of Georgia where he graduated with honors as well. Before graduating, Dr. Waxweiler spent a year studying melanoma at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill as a Doris Duke Fellow. He then moved to Denver Colorado to complete his internship with his little brother at Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. Finally, Dr. Waxweiler completed his dermatologic residency at the University of California Irvine where he gained extensive experience with skin cancer, pediatric dermatology, and cosmetics.
Dr. Waxweiler has authored articles in scientific journals, chapters in textbooks, in addition to abstracts at dermatologic symposiums. He enjoys learning about the latest developments in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology and looks forward to bringing these to his patient population.
When not working he enjoys fly fishing, hiking, travel, and reading. Dr. Waxweiler looks forward to continuing to serve the dermatologic needs of his hometown for years to come.

Dr. Weston Waxweiler is such a nice and kind doctor, besides his professional expertise. He fully understand my concerns and worries. After the initial inspection, he immidately said - no worry, it is a very common one, I have seen many cases like this, and we will fix it. Then he explains the possible causes, his treatment plans, how do I take all the medicines, possible side effects, how soon I can see improvement, and etc. He also has his assistant scheduled follow-up appointment for me, and told me most likely I can and will cancel the appointment if everything goes well and I do not feel I need it anymore. Bascially he understands all my questions before I even ask. I would highly recommend Dr. Weston!

Dr. Waxweiller is friendly, personable, and very knowledgeable. He will address any questions you have and do minor procedures at the time of your visit if requested. His staff is very efficient. I highly recommend him.
The only problem I had was with ZocDoc. I booked an appointment, supposedly confirmed, only to have the Dr.’s office call a week or two later to tell me that appointment wasn’t available. It was rescheduled for 2 weeks later than the original ZocDoc date. I had already arranged my schedule for that date. I had also filled out all of the massive paperwork on line. When I arrived, I had to do it all again.

Dr Waxweiler has great bedside manner and explains everything very well. My husband and I had an appointment together and it was very organized and we both got the attention we needed and in a timely fashion. I have seen this doctor before several years ago and I am happy to be able to have him as my doctor again. I would definitely recommend him to our friends.

Dr. Waxweiler was courteous and professional during my visit. He explained my condition (seborrhea) and how it typically manifests. He also clearly explained use of the prescribed medication.
During my visit, he also inspected a mole which he swiftly removed and had sent off to be pathology.
Overall, I was pleased that he took the time to explain what was going on with my skin and is assisting me in getting it treated.
The supporting staff (from the front desk receptionist to the doctor aide) were also helpful and polite.
I would recommend this location (Cleaver Medical Dermatology) to anyone needing dermatology treatment or consults.

Doc and staff were great.
I made the appt and filled out all the paperwork, including uploading my insurance card and DL on this app, but when I arrived I had to fill it out again, email them my insurance card and let them copy my DL. Kind of defeats the purpose of doing it on line…I’m just saying
