I was a first time patient and my experience was great. I was a little nervous going into the office because I hadn't seen a doctor in so long, but Sarah the doctor's assistant was smart and friendly.Dr McGarity was punctual. He listened to my concerns and is sending me out to a couple of specialist, but what I loved is that the majority of everything was done right from his office on site test.(xrays, eco cardiagram, ultrasound,EKG) He's laid back and even though there's no doubt he's very knowledgeable, he seems to still have the compassion I need my physician to have. He and his staff made a very good first impression on me.

Friendly office staff. Only waited in waiting room for less than 10 minutes & in exam room about the same. Dr. McGarity sat down and was relaxed, asked questions, did a thorough exam. I appreciated SO much not stressing over long waits like in prior offices. I highly recommend Dr. McGarity!

This was not a pleasant visit. It was my first visit to this office. The wait was short but I see why. I was very polite when I met with McGarity and explained the issue I was having at the very moment but he focused completely on my weight which was not the direct issue of my reason for coming. Without really knowing much of my life style he said I was short, over weight and I would definitely get diabetes. He showed little to no concern and was not very genuine. The only thing I could say is he made me aware of things I am already working on. I lost 50 pounds in the previous 4 months, which explains why my blood pressure and sugar were in good states. Now currently weighting 278 and continuing lose weight with my own plans, it was very dissappointing to hear him assume I sit behind a work desk. I am a Shop Manager for Loreal so all I do is stand and walk on my feet 12 hours out of the day. He did not bother to ask me about my diet or anything about my life style choices. The main purpose for me coming, he gave me a little to no real assistance or explaination. For how servere my pains have been, I expected X-Rays or some more insight other than a rude interpretation of my weight. I received a shot and blood tests. When the nurse in the office have me the shot, she left the door open while I was trying to pull my pants back on. The experience was very unique and robotic. I am searching for a doctor for longevity and I will definitely not be returning to McGarity's office.

He wasn't as supper as everyone made him out to be, guess in this place you can diagnose yourself and just tell him and he will give you a prescription. As for the staff I wasn't impress with them either. I think the only decent thing in there was one receptionist, the other one was rude.

Dr. McGarity was easy to talk to. Allergy testing and other minor services available in office. Good choice as PCP. The wait was a little long in the lobby, but appropiate once back in the patient room. Duration between appointments has been manageable for mild chronic condition.

Like a lot of Doctors these days, he seemed more interested in treating the symptom and not very interested in treating the cause. Too quick to offer up a drug prescription in my opinion. I got better advice from the Internet actually. He and his staff were professional and courteous though, and my wait wasn't long.
