Patient reviews for Dr. William Schell
Highly recommend Dr. Schell. Very smooth booking and check in process. He was thorough and very knowledgeable and reassuring during the visit.
Dr. Schell was wonderful! He allayed my fears of needing surgery and gave me helpful aftercare that would help my knee issues. He has excellent bedside manner.
Dr. Schell is the best. I’ve been going to him for years and he even performed my shoulder surgery. Simple a great surgeon, great bedside manner, always spends time with you and provides thorough evaluations and explanations . I’ve sent others others to him and they have had great experiences and outcomes. Don’t hesitate. He’s as good as they come.
Knows his stuff
I would highly recommend Dr Schell. He is thorough and patient, explains everything, and offers reasonable treatment options. He’s also very pleasant and reassuring. Hadn’t seen him in years and he either genuinely remembered or did his homework - either way, he made me feel right at ease.
Great doctor. Very detail oriented and answered all the questions I asked. Highly recommended!
Excellent bedside manners. I would recommend it.
Spends adequate time and provides explanations and answers all questions thoroughly. Also doesn't push unnecessary procedures.
Very friendly office staff and Doctor was terrific!
Great doctor, will recommend
Highly recommendable. Clean and fully equipped practice. Little to no waiting time. Friendly and helpful staff. Very respectful bedside manner. Accessible and understandable explanations on medical condition.
I was disappointed that the office needed me to fill forms upon arrival. They claimed to not have access to the ZocDoc forms, nor to the insurance card.
Friendly staff all around, Dr. Schell and his staff spent a nice amount of time listening, diagnosing, and providing recommendations for treatment.
Dr Schell spent a lot of time with me explaining in detail what he saw in the exam/ x-rays and answering all of my (many) questions. He was knowledgeable and kind. Would defiantly recommend.
The Doctor appeared smart and intelligent, and is both professional and friendly. He reviewed the X-rays with me (yes, he showed me the images and described the issue), provided a diagnosis, and described various methods to treat the condition. He gave me adequate time and by the end of the visit, I felt he had adequately closed the loop so I knew just where I stood. If I have to describe the visit in a phrase, I would called it "Business Perfect!" (an efficient and thorough visit)
Dr. Schell made the consultation as easy as possible. He went the extra mile to explain the necessary next steps and provided options to arrive at a resolution to my injury. Highly recommend!
Everything was perfect! Excellent MD!
I had an annoying ankle sprain and the doctor was quick to put me at ease - highly recommend!
Dr Schell expressed opinions clearly and explained everything in detail. I highly recommended Dr Schell.
Doctor did a very good job of explaining the situation and preliminary indicators. Wait time: not super fast but decent by dr office standards.
Dr. Schell was very thorough with his examination and addressed all questions I asked. He explained what my options are as to my plan of care and made sure that I understood measures to help manage my arthritis. He was very professional and personable at the same time.
Great doctor, easy to talk to, easy to understand.
Very professional and personable. Enjoyed the experience.
Dr. Schell is a pro and always takes the time to really understand my injury.
Very professional with a conservative approach, which I enjoyed he did not jump straight to surgery. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Very cordial, took time to understand the problem, examined very well and gave great advise!
Dr. Schell is very informative and to the point. He never rushes and always listens to all of the concerns that I have. All of my injuries are sports/fitness related and he takes my active lifestyle into consideration when providing details on how to care for each injury and overall really wants to see you get better so you can be back on your feet! I think he's a great doctor, and the ladies behind the desk are friendly and helpful as well. I found him right here on ZocDoc and have been seeing him whenever necessary for about 3 years, and while nobody enjoys being hurt it's a pleasure to see Dr. Schell and be reassured on how to recover and get back to my active life!
Dr. Schell is clear in his explanation of what the problem is. A pleasure to be his patient.
He's the go-to for people with shoulder issues - I've referred him more times than I can count!
He was thorough. Didn't dismiss me and my knee issue. He gave me my options and let me choose how I wanted to proceed. He helped put me at ease and I left a completely happy person.
Super good doctor. Timing was quick, I needed to get xrays and that happened within minutes of being brought to the room and then the doctor showed up right after. Quick but very thorough, explained everything in depth, and felt like I was really taken care of.
He was great doctor. His explanations were very clear.
Really great doctor. Awesome people skills. Didnt feel rushed and he walked me through everything I needed to know.
Best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever visited and I appreciate his conservative approach to managing my injury. Highly recommend.
Easy check in. Dr. Schell saw me quite quickly and he was through but easy to understand. Highly recommend!
2nd time I’ve seen Dr. Schell and he continues to impress me with his professionalism. He explains things well and shows his expertise, while making me feel comfortable.
Very informative and easy visit. Would highly recommend
I have been a patient of Dr. Schell for over a decade. He always gives a 100% accurate diagnosis as well as what needs to be done to make the injury (in my case, ballet-related) heal or disappear. He's intelligent.
It was good. I am waiting to hear from him about minor surgery to be scheduled on Friday, Jan 11.
Great doctor, excellent experience
My visit was good...reviewed my options and gave a referral.
Very good at explaining and makes you feel heard. Highly recommend.
Very sharp thoughtful doctor gives good advice
Dr Schell was terrific. He gave me his full attention and explained in detail what he thought was my medical issue, and the long term understanding of what I might expect. I feel very confident under his care and would highly recommend him
Great Doctor, but feel a little rush..
