I’ve seen a few dermatologists in Lis Angeles. This is BY FAR, my favorite.

I went to see Dr. Shipman hoping for a thorough and compassionate evaluation of my chronic skin condition and relief from a current crisis triggered by an explosive allergic reaction. Unfortunately, the appointment was both disappointing and unproductive. Dr. Shipman showed little interest in exploring holistic care strategies. When I brought up the possible role of cortisol and histamine in my flares, he replied, “I’m not a chemist,” and suggested I see a wellness doctor or go to the emergency room. His conclusion was that I had “reached the end of the road,” and that the only viable treatments were lifelong pills or bi-weekly injections.
When I asked whether Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) could be contributing to my condition, he dismissed it without explanation.
He prescribed Zoryve and provided samples. I applied the cream as directed and soon experienced nausea, insomnia, and other significant side effects. I decided to stop using it. I do not plan to return to Dr. Shipman.
