Wooyoung (Monica) Choi, MD is an internist and primary care doctor at Mount Sinai. She completed her residency program in New York City at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and is now an Assistant Professor at Ichan School of Medicine. Dr. Choi received her medical degree from Korea University College of Medicine and has a particular interest in working with patients of all backgrounds.
As a primary care physician, she works closely with her patients using a multidisciplinary approach to identify and treat a wide array of health concerns. She takes a preventative care approach with cancer screening and routine/travel vaccinations, while also managing a wide range of conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, obesity, thyroid problems, and medical clearance. Dr. Choi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.
