Meet Xudong Wang, Your Acupuncturist in McLean, VA Hi, I’m Xudong! At Sunrise Integrative Wellness in McLean, Virginia, I combine my passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine with warm, personalized care. I offer acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, traditional fire cupping, and moxibustion, with a special interest in migraines, stress management, women’s health, and pain relief. I am a licensed acupuncturist in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Florida, and a board-certified NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Professional Health Studies and Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine. My connection to Chinese medicine began at home. My father studied at a leading Chinese medicine university in China, and I grew up experiencing acupuncture, herbal medicine, and TCM food therapy. Today, I bring these traditions into my practice, offering authentic Chinese medicine therapies tailored to your needs and comfort. Xudong was incredible! Her expertise and holistic approach was refreshing and her care and warmth made sharing about all areas in life very comfortable.
Xudong listens attentively, is well organized and has excellent follow-through. She is also thorough and insightful about what creating the trouble in your body. She provides individualized care as well. I told her that I have been intermittent fasting, and while the needles were in she went and researched the specific protocol I was following and was able to recommend to me if that was right for me based on her assessment.
