About Dr. Yan Mei Luo
Yan Mei Luo, MD, is board certified in family medicine and committed to providing exceptional care for patients and their families at Atlantic Health. After graduating from Fordham University in New York, Dr. Luo pursued her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine in Portsmouth, Dominica. She maintains membership in the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. She is also committed to community education and has presented at local high schools on topics that include body image, nutrition, healthy lifestyles, diet and exercise. Conversational in Chinese – specifically the Cantonese and Toishanese dialects – Dr. Luo believes in charity work. Very welcoming staff. Dr. Luo was straight and to the point and honest. I'm not one to go to the doctor unless it's an emergency, but I'm at the age where it's time for routine check ups. I won't be as reluctant as I typically am with her and the staff.

I just had my annual physical with Dr. Luo, and she is by far the best doctor I’ve ever had. What stood out to me the most was that there was no wait time at all—unlike my past experiences where I’d have to wait anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. She was incredibly thorough, informative, and had a great bedside manner. She took the time to explain everything in detail, even addressing concerns I hadn’t mentioned yet, making sure I fully understood my health. I truly appreciate her proactive approach and dedication to patient care. I’m looking forward to seeing her again next year!

This doctor's office is 30 minutes (on the highway) from where I live, not super convenient to get to...and totally worth the drive.
It's worth it to find the right doctor/team. I highly recommend this one. ??

Appointment went smoothly. They called my name before I even finished the one piece of paperwork I was filling out. Everything moved briskly in the examination room as well with the nurse first taking vitals and it only took a minute for Dr. Luo to come in. She was friendly and informative while discussing my concerns.

Great first time visiting as a new patient. I aged out of the pediatric association I went to for my annual physicals and went here. Dr Luo accepted my insurance, and it was an ease to book an appointment, check in, and get my physical done.
