Dr. Yasaman Mansouri, MD, FAAD, MRCP, is a highly skilled dermatologist with a distinguished career in both clinical practice and research. She specializes in general, cosmetic, and complex medical dermatology, with a particular focus on eczema, alopecia areata, and psoriasis. Dr. Mansouri is known for her compassionate patient care, meticulous consultations, and innovative treatment plans. I don’t recommend this doctor at all. She wasn’t very nice and was rather condescending. I tried to explain other treatments recommended to me and get her thoughts and she got very defensive for some reason and told me to stick to one doctor. She barely wanted to discuss treatment options and told me that some of my issues are “impossible to treat” even though there’s recent evidence that it can be successfully treated, and when I brought up those examples she again got defensive.
She’s not helpful. She can’t come up with treatment options, she’s just going to tell you everything you’re dealing with is “just how it is.” This is clearly an easy money grab for her because the appointment was < 15 minutes and she just wanted to end the call ASAP even though I had other issues to talk about. I recommend spending your copay elsewhere. I’m going to dispute mine since the “appointment” was so short and she left before I had a chance to talk about all of my concerns.

I was long overdue for a dermatologist appointment, so I was a little nervous about what to expect. Everyone was warm, welcoming and made me feel at ease. Dr Mansouri is my favorite specialist to visit. She clearly cares a lot about her patients. Her consultations never feel rushed, she takes time for a thorough examination, which I always appreciate.

I had very high hopes for the doctor to cure my acne. The first appointment that I went, I had to take a blood test, and they misdiagnosed me as pregnant, which is crazy. I almost thought that I was Virgin Mary. My friend told me that I should just see another doctor, but I still wanted to see her, so I took another blood test at the lab corp just to prove that I’m not pregnant, so I can continue seeing Dr.Mansouri. Today is my second appointment with her, there was a huge train delay in Jersey. I was very late because of the delay. I called twice, at the second time the doctor said she refused to see me ever gain, since I missed the previous three appointments and today’s. I did not recall any of the past three appointments that I scheduled with her, or phone calls/ emails/text regarding the previous non existing appointments. But still thank you so much for not understanding me, and making my life harder. See you never~
