“Booked my appointment with Dr. Liu a day before and they were able to accommodate me right away. Came in a little early and they still accommodated me. Was in for an annual physical exam and Dr. Liu made sure to listen to all my issues with my body and even did some tests herself so I no longer have to go to a different specialist/doctor. Made sure to explain well the medication and gave clear instructions. Front desk and medical assistants were friendly and made me feel welcome unlike other doctor's offices who make you feel uncomfortable. I recommend Dr. Liu and her office/staff if she's covered in your insurance.”

About Dr. Ying Liu
I am originally from China but now practice in the United States. I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I wanted to help people, and helping them fight illnesses and recover is a very rewarding experience for me.
I graduated from Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology and earned a Master of Medicine from Wuhan University School of Medicine. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at Mount Vernon Hospital.
A good day at work for me is when I feel happy and satisfied that I have diagnosed and treated every patient and successfully managed challenging cases. I want all of my patients to feel better, and whenever that happens, it's a very rewarding feeling.

Not very thorough. Had trouble with the equipment for the actual exam (that was the point of the appointment) and ended up referring me. Referrals I received from the front desk and (later) online were both blank.

Communicated with the staff specifically about the vaccine I needed and ended up with getting a totally different vaccine instead (the one that I specifically addressed not to receive).

I was very surprised that Dr Liu did a through examination. usually with state insurance you get the bare minimum. I liked her. I had a 9am apt I was out of the office by 1015 including labs being done as well.

Dr. Liu was very pleasant, even though she spent only about 10 minutes speaking with me and consultation. It was very quick for an annual visit. I know these doctors have a lot of patient but I would like to visit a place where I am treated like a person rather than a number. The front desk staff were extremely unprofessional. I was about 7 minutes late with traffic and trying to figure out where to park in their parking deck which requires you to pay for it. I arrived and the front desk girl immediately went to scolding me about being late and how I should be thankful someone cancelled so that I can have their appointment. It was unnecessary. As I waited and the service process was 2 hours. What took long was the pre-enrollment and then the bloodwork. Talked to the dr for 10 minutes and left. I return next week for results and after that, I will never return there.

Friendly staff. The assistant asked a lot of questions and nobody was judgmental because I haven't been to the doctor in years. They even asked about my mental health. I was taken care of on the first visit.
