Dr. Yang earned her medical degree from the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science & Technology. She then moved to the United States to complete her residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Medical Center, Bronx. She completed a fellowship in clinical cardiology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Montefiore Medical Center. Very accomodating even tho I was late getting there…then got hung up at check in because of insurance issues (no fault of the check in staff) They were all so nice!! Dr. Yang doesn’t listen to the patient but only herself. I have high blood pressure and it runs in my family. At the time of the visit it was 186/138. I asked her what is is best bp medication and then she points to her head and said that I should see a psychiatrist because its anxiety! Those bp numbers are steady and all day long. So she prescribed me Labetalol Hcl ( which is a beta blocker for pregnant women). Well I made a appointment with my primary and we shall see how this medication can bring my numbers down. ( 186/138). If not Ill find an educated cardiologist or in the worst case I will see a psychiatrist as she recommended. Totally unacceptable!

I came in due to chest pain and the doctor said I looked healthy on paper and blamed it on the food I ate before bed that night when I had never experienced chest pains before. She never even listened to my heart or did a physical examination.

Dr. Yang is informative. She will take the time to review and explain symptoms that one is experiencing. She takes the necessary precautions to essentially rule out a potential heart attack. In my case, Dr. Yang identified that I had suffered a heart attack and immediately made arrangements so that I could undergo angioplasty procedure at Orange Regional Hospital. That was my first experience with Dr. Yang, and since then, I have continued her service.

I arrived early but waited around half an hour after my appointment time to be seen. Then as I was being seen, everything felt rushed. It felt like I had to really try squeezing in my symptoms/concerns; it was hard finding a window to speak. I couldn't help but wonder if she had enough information before she gave me a prescription and left. I have no doubt she is a wonderful doctor, but I would have liked to not feel rushed and to have felt like I could ask any questions I had.
