About Dr. Yingxin Zhao

I do NOT accept insurance so far. Dr. Yingxin Joy Zhao was born in China into a Chinese medical family. Her grandfather was an experienced Chinese medical doctor who inspired her interest in Chinese medicine from childhood. Joy graduated from Hainan Medical University with a Bachelor's Degree in Chinese Medicine and is a licensed medical physician in China. She also studied at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, where she earned a Doctorate Degree of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She has been studying and practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for 12 years. Dr. Joy completed her residency at the Chinese PLA General Hospital in Beijing, China, and worked at the TCM Hospital of Guangdong Province in Guangzhou. She has studied and practiced herbal medicine and acupuncture with many expert mentors in China. Dr. Joy specializes in infertility for both women and men, gynecology, pain management, digestive issues, stress, insomnia, Bell's palsy, and holistic medicine.
