“The doctor conducted a VERY thorough and extensive pre-treatment Q&A session with me to determine exactly what issues I was having. He took time explaining what organs might be causing my pain. Juliana, Dr Kim's assistant, was also very helpful and assisted with explaining the procedures.

I went there for the sciatic pain that is traveling down my left leg, and I left there in just as much or more Pain than I had when I arrived. The provider and the woman, not sure of her role, asked a lot of questions , took copious notes, both checked my pulse. He later said he was treating me for low energy, but I went there for sciatic nerve pain. I think the language barrier contributed to the misunderstanding of the purpose of my visit. I hurt now more than I had before the acupuncture visit. I think I’ll keep

The experience I had with Dr. Kim and Juliana was exceptional. I've had acupuncture before in many different places in the US and Europe. Never have I had this level of attention and thorough exploration of my history from such a holistic perspective.
Dr. Kim prioritized his assessment in terms of which areas to address first, and I already feel so much better after my first treatment.

I truly loved my experience with Mr. Kim and Juliana. Every visit that I have here feels like an experience. They take such good care of me and I leave feeling amazing. Mr. Kim is thorough and his ability to pinpoint issues related to various points is incredible. I love this place.

I've visited Dr. Youngki Kim several times, and he's one of the best acupuncturists I've visited. I'm saying this after going to 4 different acupuncturists in the area.
He listens carefully to the clients and takes the time to hear the entire history from the clients so he can help them. When he gives the treatment, he explains each step of the treatment while he does it. He carefully watches the patient's tolerance for needles and doesn't do any kind of treatment that's too uncomfortable for the patient. At the same time, he's serious about healing all of his patients' illnesses so they can live a better life!
The doctor is also very compassionate and truly understands the burden that illness places on the patient. My symptoms have greatly improved since I started with this doctor. I highly recommend this acupuncturist for everyone. I'm very thankful to have him as my doctor.

Just amazing! This was my first experience with acupunture and I was skeptical about it. They fix my lower back pain in just one session. Now I can walk normal again and I no longer need to use pain killers. Their staff is amazing and the facilities are clean and very welcoming. Thanks to them I am free of pain and fully functional again

Two days ago, I visited the hospital because I had severe back pain and finger pain. After receiving acupuncture treatment from Dr. Kim, I feel better and can wear shoes again, and I have hope that I can continue to take guitar lessons. I highly recommend it.

First time having an acupuncture and let me tell you, Juliana and Master Kim are amazing at what they do! I have never felt so welcomed in such a calm environment. Both listened to my concerns and complaints and treated my condition. I am grateful to them both and what they do. Thank you google for the awesome search that lead me to them! Dr. Kim and Juliana are the kindest people to be around. They genuinely care about the well being and the comfort of the patients. I am having lower back pain for almost a year and after going to chiropractor, physical therapy and other professionals I didn’t see too much improvement in my pain level. In fact I was even told that my pain will never go away. I decided to give acupuncture a try even after the optimistic predictions given by the previous professionals. After the first visit with Dr. Kim I felt better right away. In fact I felt the best in months. The visit was great with great questions and a complete health assessment. The acupuncture procedure was relaxing and pain free. Thank you Dr. Kim and Juliana not only for being such amazing people but also for bringing my hope back of being pain free!

The best series of acupuncture treatments I have ever received, and I have tried several different places in the DC metro area and in other states. Dr. Kim and Juliana are absolutely wonderful. They take time to listen to you and understand your health concerns, and explain various techniques that they apply during treatments. They are very kind and I always feel very relaxed after each treatment. My health has already improved after only four visits. I would highly recommend The Village of Healing Hands to anyone looking for acupuncture treatments.

The visit was pleasant but reformed by Korean provider. Having expected a TCM Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, I am still assessing the treatment and understanding their treatment plan. They were diligent in making, communication clear and the acupuncture experience was very good.

Another great visit tonight. As always, I left feeling brand new and just a lot less stressed then when I came in. I've been coming to see Master Kim since April of this year (2022), initially for shoulder pain, and I've been coming back regularly since then. Their attentiveness and bedside manner is just excellent. I feel well cared for whenever I am there. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to try acupuncture, especially if you have physical ailments but also if you want to try a homeopathic alternative for other ailments too (I attribute it to helping me stop biting my nails finally). My neighbor, and three of my cousins and an aunt are now regulars as well. I am lucky I found this place.

I loved every part of my visit from start to finish! I recently suffered from a weakened nerve due to being party & was unable to move the left side of my face. Just a day after my visit, I started feeling some muscle tension with my left side of my face! I came back for a second visit with my daughter immediately. An amazing place that truly does heal you.

The village of Healing Hands Acupuncture (VHHA) should be your first stop when seeking acupuncture treatment, and you'll find they can treat far more than you might have expected. In addition to treating a partial hearing loss in on ear, VHHA also helped me to stop taking acid reflux pills, which can cause kidney damage over time, by addressing and eliminating the problem. VHHA helped me to recover from injuries to my lower back and shoulder due to a fall onto pavement, and their treatment for my enlarged prostate and urine flow has been a great help as well. Anyone coming to the VHHA will receive excellent care and you'll wish you had come here sooner!
