She completed her psychiatric residency at the University of Maryland and Sheppard Pratt Hospital. Dr. Dong served as a staff psychiatrist at Sheppard Pratt Hospital for two years. She specializes in depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and relationship difficulties. Dr. Dong believes that medication management is most helpful when utilized in combination with psychotherapy. Her particular interests in psychotherapy techniques include CBT, brief psychodynamic therapy, psycho-educational, and traditional supportive therapy.
