I went online seeking an ENT Doctor and wasn’t aware that I was given a mix of medical professionals (internist, nurse practitioner, physician assistant) together with ENT doctors to chose from. The visit with Dr. Merchant went well with the exception of my surprise that she was not an ENT Doctor. Her medical knowledge, expertise, professional mannerism as an internist was excellent and I would recommend her to others

Well, Dr. Merchant is a great doctor, She was very caring, informative and very helpful, However, Zocdoc, has her listed as Endocrinologist, which is who needed to see, but when I got there, Dr. Merchant informed that she is not an Endocrinologist and actually did help me get an appointment with the right doctor that I needed to see. Zocdoc needs to do better in informing patients of the correct titles and fields these Doctors are listed as because it actually could have been a real waste of my day, but like I said Dr. Merchant treated me and gave me the correct information and still did labs for me to have them ready when I do see the Endocrinologist. So overall it was a very pleasant visit. Thank you Dr. Merchant and your staff. I really appreciated it!!

Although on Zocdoc, when you search for ENT, Dr. Merchant comes up however she is solely an internal medicine doctor. Also, I booked because her office had a late appointment availability, however, there is no receptionist after 5pm and the doctor almost left because she didn’t realize I was there. I waited 30 minutes but I don’t hold that to her. Just things to look out/ consider when booking.
