Getting to know Zachary Wight

Accepting New Patients Via Telehealth Appointments Anywhere in Colorado! I specialize in integrative psychiatry for individuals ages 16+, combining evidence-based medication management with holistic and non-traditional "whole-body" approaches for full-spectrum treatment of mental illnesses and substance abuse. I am accepting of all people and provide non-judgmental care. Viewing the mind, body, emotions, and soul as beautifully interconnected, I strive to gain a deep understanding of your unique history, the current struggles hindering mental wellness, and adaptation skills that can be enhanced to inspire a lasting sense of inner joy. I hold a Master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. As the chief psychiatric provider and co-owner of Inner Joy Psychiatry, an integrative mental wellness clinic, I view each individual as a whole person rather than a set of symptoms. I encourage growth in mindfulness, self-care, personal accountability, and self-awareness, while prioritizing your autonomy in developing your unique treatment plan.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My patients have expressed appreciation for my "non-rushed" approach. I am committed to bringing humanity and empathy back into healthcare. I want to hear your story, to create a space where you can heal and grow, and to guide you toward a brighter vision for your future. My aim is for you to feel empowered and hopeful about your mental wellness. Let’s talk!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Your initial appointment will be a comprehensive 1-hour psychiatric evaluation where I will explore your psychiatric and medical history, discuss treatment options, empower you with knowledge, and encourage your active involvement in shaping the right treatment plan for you. Follow-up visits are scheduled for 15-20 minutes and may include supportive therapy when appropriate. My aim is for you to leave each appointment feeling empowered and hopeful about your mental health.
