Getting to know Zeeshan Choudhry

Hello my name is Zeeshan Choudhry but you can call me Zee if you like. I am a board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Michigan. My approach is is your diagnosis is not as important as finding a way to help you succeed. My approach My approach is is your diagnosis is not as important as finding a way to help you feel better and the mind and body work together so we should try to do more than just medications and therapy. My focus I typically work with patients of all age 5 and up i have treated many many conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizoprenia, schizoaffective, OCD, PTSD, oppositional defiance, eating disorders, substance use disorders, personality disorders and many more. My communication style I like the sessions to be pretty informal make yourself comfortable, speak as you are comfortable. I like to focus on getting some background and spending some time finding a solution where it is going to make you feel the best. My patients are able to text message me whenever they are having issues and get a timely response. My journey to mental healthcare I went into mental health to help people and was immediately drawn to psychiatry I love my work and when my patients feel better I feel better. My goals for you I want my patient's to focus on the symptoms that are most bothersome to them, and ways we can alleviate those symptoms. My first session with you First session we want to get some basic background information and outline ways to best help you feel better.
