“My first time at this location, I was in excruciating pain with my sciatica, and this was the only office open on Christmas. I do live almost an hour away, but luckily I had a ride because I can’t in this amount of pain. He was very nice and thorough. I only got Acupuncture for 15 minutes and then coupling which only relieved the pain by 10%.. The only complaint I have to say is I didn’t get help walking to the room as you can clearly see I was in excruciating pain. And the bed wasn’t that comfortable other than that he was a wonderful man and I wish she was just closer to me. I am so appreciative that he was open on Christmas Day. I’ve had acupuncture done before, but I walked out of there like I never had sciatica for 30 days at that point and that’s what I was hoping for this time but I found someone that’s closer as I do not want to take any medication.”

About Zhengyang Liu

Hello, my name is Zhengyang (Charlie) Liu. I was admitted to Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TJUTCM) in 2010 and graduated in 2015 with a dual undergraduate degree in Chinese Medicine and Rehabilitation, along with a one-year clinical rotation at TJUTCM’s affiliated hospital. During my five years in Tianjin, I studied core subjects such as acupuncture, and herbal medicine prescription, as well as rehabilitation-focused courses like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation assessment. After graduating in 2015, I worked as a Chinese medicine physician at a public general hospital in my hometown, which had over 700 employees, for three years. In fall 2019, I moved to the United States to pursue a Master’s in Acupuncture at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester, MA. After two years of study and a one-year clinical internship, I successfully passed the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) exam in 2022, earning my Massachusetts acupuncturist license. Over the past three years in the U.S., I have integrated various Chinese medicine theories, herbal formulas, and acupuncture techniques to enhance patient health. My clinical experience, coupled with ongoing self-study, has strengthened my expertise in treating pain management, digestive disorders, insomnia, anxiety, depression, and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, and other chronic diseases. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctoral degree at Five Branches University in San Jose, California, further expanding my knowledge and clinical proficiency. I am honored to be part of the CBS Acupuncture with over a decade of history, extensive clinical resources, experienced practitioners, and a strong local reputation. Working here allows me not only to deliver effective treatments and compassionate healthcare but also to continually refine my skills and professional experience.
