About Dr. Zujajah Hassan
Dr. Hassan joins ProHEALTH with over 20 years of primary care clinical and leadership experience. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Fatima Jinnah Medical University. She completed her internship and fellowship at the Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. Former Chief of Ambulatory Care Medicine at Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi, Dr. Hassan has also worked as a teacher for interns and medical residents.
Dr. Hassan works out of ProHEALTH West Carver Medical in Huntington, where she cares for a full spectrum of Internal Medicine patients.

This was my first time here and my experience was wonderful. They took me right on time and I was in and out within 25 minutes of my appointment! I am always appreciative of a doctor’s office that is considerate of my time while giving outstanding care. Dr. Hassan was awesome and very thorough. She was a very friendly doctor. I was uncertain in changing providers, but I made the right choice with her. She was diligent with my care and was funny. Her bedside manner was professional while keeping the atmosphere comfortable.

The location was under construction on one half of the building (the side where the parking lot was) so when I opened the door I was stunned it was an empty shell of a building and immediately thought I had the wrong address.
Communicating with this office now that they have a new type of "online only" or telephone tree / rabbit hole method of confirming appointments and handling FAQs is exceedingly unpleasant and disconcerting. Had I actually been able to speak with a staff member by phone prior to my appointment, I would have learned NOT to park on the west side of the building due to the construction currently underway. The doctor, her staff and nurses were all friendly, professional and inspired my confidence.

Dr. Hassan is extremely thorough and thoughtful during her examination. I truly felt like I was being listened to and having a conversation about me and my needs.
