"My appointment with Dr. Braha was at the Ocean Avenue location. He was very friendly and easy-going in my appointment with him. I was able to ask questions like I was talking with a friend, without any anxiety that I would be ignored or dismissed. Not all physicians let their patients feel as valuable as Dr. Braha does. He gave me plenty of time to ask questions and to understand why he felt that a particular procedure might be necessary. His talk is relaxed and I felt relaxed, as well, and I usually feel ill-at-ease in a doctor's office. Also, the nurse or physician's assistant (I don't know her particular title) was very friendly and informative when she discussed with me the information that I would need for the procedure that was to be done, and I didn't at all feel rushed with her, either. My experience at Dr. Braha's office was excellent. The office is easily accessible from the Avenue U stop on the Q Train, and is just a short walk from Avenue U. The only thing that felt uncomfortable was when I arrived at the building at 2579 Ocean Avenue, and I couldn't figure out how to get in the front door of the building, which was locked. There was no buzzer or door bell or anything with Dr. Braha's name on it, so I got very nervous and I wondered how I could get into the building in time for my appointment. Finally, in desperation, I had to resort to ringing a few other offices' buzzers next to the front doors because I was totally confused, and luckily someone buzzed me into the building. Just my opinion, but I think that Dr. Braha or the office manager should arrange to improve the procedure on how to get into the building; that way, a new and perplexed patient won't get worried that he won't be able to get into the building. Luckily, it was mild weather out there on the day of my appointment, but when it's 90 degrees out in the summer or if there were frigid temperatures when winter comes (all of which are inevitable), patients are going to get kind of peeved at the idea of standing in front of a large, commercial office building in the freezing cold or stifling heat and not having a clue as to how to get inside."
