About Dr. Aaron McAnelly

Aaron grew up in Lawton, OK. In his youth, he loved doing anything outdoors: hiking, camping, and building forts to name a few. He was also active in his Boy Scouts Troop and served on multiple church mission trips and activities. Aaron played just about every sport a person can play, including football, soccer, basketball, track, and baseball. In college, he played soccer for Oklahoma Baptist University, where he earned his bachelor's degree. During his junior year, Aaron tore a ligament in his ankle and started rehab with a local physical therapist. He loved the process of working hard and improving, which inspired him to change his pursuit of a Medical Doctorate (MD) to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). He earned his DPT from the University of the Incarnate Word. Aaron continues to learn and develop his skills as a Physical Therapist to better serve his patients. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, exercising, doing home improvement projects, hunting, and worshiping with his church at Alamo Community Church.
