Abigail Lacey is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) working under the supervision of Alice E. "Bess" Green, LPC AT/S, ATR-BC. She is also credentialed through the ATCB as a Provisional Registered Art Therapist (ATR-P). Abigail holds a Master’s of Arts Degree in Art Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. She obtained her B.A. in Studio Art with a minor in Psychology from the University of West Florida. Abigail’s counseling background includes work among populations of individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, disabilities, and trauma. She is currently providing outpatient counseling services to all ages 6 and up.
Abigail aims to create an encouraging and supportive counseling environment where trust and vulnerability are welcomed and protected. She believes each individual deserves the opportunity to contribute to their counseling experience. Each session incorporates the client in the design of their work together. She seeks to equip the individual with knowledge, resiliency, and coping skills that will continue to cultivate hope and change within the individual long after the counseling relationship concludes.
